Notifications
Predylo keeps you informed when teammates assign work, mention you, or when reminders come due. Notifications appear in the bell icon in the top bar and on the full Notifications page.
You control which events send instant email and whether you receive a daily digest — per organization.
The notification bell
Click the bell in the dashboard header to open the dropdown:
- Unread count — Badge shows pending notifications
- Recent list — Title, body preview, and relative time
- Mark read — Click a notification or use “Mark all read”
- Deep links — Each notification links to the relevant lead, task, or settings page
Open View all to see the full history on /notifications.
Notification types
| Type | When it fires |
|---|---|
| task_assigned | Someone assigns you a reminder or task on a lead |
| task_reassigned | A task moves from another rep to you |
| lead_assigned | You become the owner of a lead |
| mention | A teammate @mentions you in a lead comment |
| comment | New comment on a lead you own or follow (when enabled) |
| reminder_due | A scheduled task or meeting reminder is due |
| system | Org-wide announcements and system messages |
Each notification stores: title, body, actor (who triggered it), link, and read timestamp.
In-app vs email
By default, all types create an in-app notification immediately.
Email delivery is optional and controlled in your profile:
- Instant email — Per-type toggles (assignments, mentions, reminders, etc.)
- Daily digest — One email summarizing unread notifications from the last 24 hours
Digest sends at your chosen UTC hour (default 8:00 UTC). Instant emails respect the same type toggles.
Configure everything under Settings → Profile → Notification preferences. See Profile & Notifications.
Per-organization preferences
If you belong to multiple orgs, notification prefs are stored per org. Switching orgs in the workspace uses that org’s saved preferences.
This lets you get instant emails for mentions in your primary sales org but digest-only in a sandbox org.
Slack fan-out
When your org configures a Slack Incoming Webhook, these notification types also post to Slack:
- Task assigned
- Lead assigned
- @Mentions
- New comments (team discussion)
One Slack message per event (not per recipient). Configure under Integrations.
Notifications page
/notifications shows:
- Filter: All / Unread
- Full list with pagination
- Mark individual or all as read
Useful when you return from vacation and need to triage a backlog.
Tips
- Turn off comment email if noisy — Keep in-app on; disable instant email for
commentif you get too many on shared leads. - Enable mention email — Most reps keep instant email for
mentionandtask_assignedonly. - Digest for low-priority orgs — Daily digest works well for secondary workspaces.
- Click through, don’t ignore — Notifications deep-link to leads; clearing them is your task queue companion to My Work.
