Reminders & Meetings

Schedule tasks and meetings on any lead to never lose a follow-up. Reminders appear on lead detail, in My Work, and trigger notifications when assigned or due.

Meeting reminders can include a video link, duration, and automatically move the lead to Meeting Scheduled on the pipeline.

What it is

Each reminder is a row on the lead with:

  • Title — e.g. “Follow up on proposal” or “Demo call”
  • Due date and time — Must be in the future when created
  • Assignee — Defaults to you; assign to any org member
  • Kind — Task or Meeting
  • Optional body — Notes for context
  • Email notify — Send email when due (in addition to in-app notification)

Meetings additionally support:

  • Meeting URL — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams link
  • Duration — Minutes blocked on calendar (informational)

Creating a reminder updates the lead’s next follow-up date if this one is sooner than any existing date.

Who uses it?

  • Sales reps — Personal follow-ups after calls, demos, and email threads.
  • Team leads — Assign research or call tasks to specialists.
  • Admins — Same as reps; can assign across the team.

Any org member can create reminders on leads they can access.

Create a task

  1. Open lead detail.
  2. Find the Reminders & tasks panel (or Tasks section).
  3. Click Add reminder to expand the form.
  4. Set Kind to Task.
  5. Enter title, due date/time, and optional notes.
  6. Choose Assignee — yourself or a teammate.
  7. Toggle Notify by email if you want an email when due.
  8. Save.

If you assign to someone else, they receive an instant task_assigned notification. See Notifications.

Schedule a meeting

  1. Same flow as a task, but set Kind to Meeting.
  2. Add Meeting URL and Duration if applicable.
  3. Save.

On save, Predylo:

  • Logs a meeting activity on the lead
  • Moves pipeline stage to Meeting Scheduled (if not already further along)

See Deals Pipeline for stage definitions.

View and complete reminders

On lead detail — Active reminders list with due date, assignee, and cancel button.

My Work — Your assigned tasks across all leads, sorted by due date. Overdue items surface at the top.

Notificationsreminder_due fires when the due time arrives (in-app + email per prefs).

Mark complete by finishing the work and cancelling the reminder, or let it auto-notify and cancel after action.

Cancel a reminder

Click Cancel on an active reminder. Cancelled reminders stay in history but no longer notify.

Use cancel when the follow-up is no longer needed (e.g. lead replied or deal closed).

Assign to a teammate

Select another org member in the Assignee dropdown. They must be an active org member (invited and joined).

Assignment triggers:

  • In-app notification with lead link
  • Instant email (if their prefs allow)
  • Slack post (if webhook configured)

Reassignment updates assignee and sends task_reassigned to the new owner.

After a dialer call

The dialer offers a shortcut to create a follow-up reminder pre-linked to the call record. Use this to schedule “call back Tuesday” immediately after hanging up. See Dialer.

Tips

  • One next step per lead — Avoid stacking five reminders; consolidate into one clear task.
  • Meetings need URLs — Paste the calendar invite link so assignees join from lead detail.
  • Check My Work daily — Pair with Dashboard for a complete morning routine.
  • Timezone awareness — Due times use your browser locale; confirm with prospects in their zone for meetings.
