Discovery

Discovery is Predylo’s inbound queue. When someone forwards an enquiry email to your org’s inbound address, AI extracts structured lead data and places it here for human review — nothing enters the main Leads pipeline until you qualify it.

What it is

The Discovery page (/discovery) shows discovered_leads — staging records with:

  • Extracted person and company fields (name, email, phone, title, company, website)
  • AI confidence score
  • Original email subject and body (expandable)
  • Status: new, reviewing, qualified, or dismissed
  • Source metadata (email_inbound, forwarded-by address, enquiry context)

Predylo’s inbound pipeline:

  1. Resend webhook receives email at your configured domain
  2. Org routing matches sender domain to your workspace
  3. Claude extracts lead fields from the message
  4. Record lands in Discovery as New

Replies to existing outreach threads are handled separately — they surface in Lead Inbox, not Discovery.

Who uses it

RoleTypical use
RepTriage website form forwards and partner referrals
Admin / OwnerMonitor inbound quality and qualify high-intent enquiries

Discovery requires the discovery module enabled for your org.

DismissedRejected spam or low-quality entries

Counts appear on each tab pill.

Step-by-step: quick qualify

When extraction looks correct and email is present:

  1. Open DiscoveryNew tab.
  2. Click Qualify on the row.

Predylo creates a lead (or links to an existing lead with the same org email), marks the discovery record qualified, logs audit activity, and may add checklist tasks on the new lead from extracted context.

Email is required — if extraction missed the email, edit before qualifying.

Step-by-step: review and edit before qualify

  1. Click Review (or open the qualify sheet) on a discovered lead.
  2. Correct name, email, phone, company, title, website, and notes.
  3. Save draft — status moves to Reviewing if it was New.
  4. Click Qualify when ready.

Saving edits updates extracted_data without creating a lead until you qualify.

Step-by-step: dismiss junk

  1. Find the row (spam, test email, duplicate enquiry).
  2. Click Dismiss.

Status becomes dismissed; no lead is created. Dismissed records stay in the Dismissed tab for audit.

Duplicate handling

If a lead with the same email already exists in your org, qualify links the discovery record to that lead instead of failing on duplicate email.

After qualify

  • Lead appears in Leads with source email_inbound and metadata pointing to the discovery record
  • Optional checklist tasks may be added as lead activities from extraction notes
  • Assign ownership and run the normal outreach pipeline

Tips

  • Check confidence, but verify — low-confidence rows often need email or company fixes.
  • Expand raw email — subject/body reveal context the summary missed.
  • Reviewing status — use it when multiple reps triage so others know someone is on it.
  • Forward to the right domain — inbound must hit an address mapped in org inbound settings.
  • Discovery ≠ Ad Leads — Meta form submissions go to Ad Leads, not Discovery.
