Campaigns V2 vs Classic Campaigns
Predylo offers two campaign workflows for bringing leads into your workspace. Classic campaigns import contacts in bulk from a lead source. Campaigns V2 takes a company-first approach: you browse every matching company with full pagination, research fit, then pull decision makers per company.
Use V2 when you want tighter control over which companies enter your pipeline before spending enrichment credits on people.
What is Campaigns V2?
Campaigns V2 is an Apollo-powered sourcing workflow built around companies, not individual contacts.
- You pick an ICP profile (same profiles used across Predylo).
- Predylo searches Apollo for companies that match your ICP filters.
- You review each company — size, industry, funding, location, and an AI intel brief.
- When a company looks like a fit, you search for decision makers at that company and import them as leads.
The campaign source is stored as apollo_v2 internally. V2 campaigns appear under Campaigns V2 in the sidebar, separate from classic Campaigns.
Classic campaigns vs V2
| Classic campaigns | Campaigns V2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Contact list from Apollo, Redrob, or CSV | Company list from Apollo |
| Best for | Fast bulk import when you trust your filters | Account-based prospecting, ABM, careful company selection |
| Pagination | Limited by source import batch | Full company pagination — browse every match |
| Research step | Scoring runs after import | Company intel brief before you import people |
| Contact selection | All matching contacts in one pass | Per-company decision-maker pick |
| Sidebar location | Campaigns | Campaigns V2 |
Both workflows feed the same lead pipeline: ICP scoring, reachability scoring, approach angles, drafts, and approvals.
Who uses it?
- Sales reps running account-based outreach who want to qualify companies before calling or emailing.
- Admins and owners setting up sourcing playbooks for the team.
- Marketing teams aligning outbound lists with ICP segments.
Reps need an Apollo API key configured in org settings before V2 search works.
Create a V2 campaign
- Go to Campaigns V2 in the sidebar.
- Click New V2 campaign.
- Name the campaign (e.g. “Enterprise HealthTech — Q2 ABM”).
- Select an ICP profile. This drives Apollo company filters and later contact title matching.
- Save — you land on the campaign workspace.
You cannot change the source type after creation. V2 campaigns always use the company-first Apollo flow.
Browse and research companies
On the campaign detail page:
- Search companies — Predylo queries Apollo with your ICP filters. Results paginate so you can work through the full list, not just the first page.
- Review each company — See employee count, industry, location, website, and funding signals where available.
- Generate an intel brief — Claude analyzes the company against your org profile and ICP. You get fit reasoning, outreach hooks, and risks to avoid.
- Mark fit — Keep companies that match; skip the rest. Your shortlist becomes your working set.
Tip: Run intel briefs on your top 10–20 companies before importing contacts. It saves time on leads you would have disqualified anyway.
Import decision makers
When a company passes your review:
- Open the company and click to find decision makers.
- Predylo searches Apollo for contacts at that company, filtered by titles from your ICP.
- Select the people you want and click Import as leads.
- Imported leads enter the normal pipeline: scoring, approach angle, and draft generation.
Duplicates are handled automatically — if a contact already exists in your org (same email), the import skips or enriches the existing record instead of creating a duplicate row.
Track campaign progress
The V2 campaign list shows:
- Campaign name and linked ICP profile
- Company search status
- Lead count imported from the campaign
Click any campaign to resume company browsing or import more contacts from companies you already researched.
Tips
- Pair with Pipeline — After import, move qualified leads through Deals Pipeline stages as you engage.
- Use classic campaigns for speed — CSV uploads and Redrob syncs still live under Campaigns & ICP. Use classic when you already have a contact list.
- Check Apollo credits — V2 makes more granular Apollo calls (companies, then contacts). Monitor usage in Settings.
- One ICP per campaign — If you target multiple personas, create separate V2 campaigns with different ICP profiles.
